I'm in Powder Springs, GA just west of Atlanta. I ran across this site while looking for ideas on how to organize my tool chest. This looks like a site with great information and some really good people sharing that info. I didn't know just trying to organize my tools would lead em to such a cool site.
A neighbor hooked me up with some great subs that built my garage this spring. In 6 weeks from slab to finished exterior. I'm getting back to the interior this winter. It's a 24x36 two-story. Upstairs I was thinking of setting up as an apartment in case I have to take care of my Dad someday. Built a ramp from my backyard area that could connect to my deck if needed for a wheelchair. If we don;t need it for that, I may put a rec space in it.
The garage space has two doors on the end of the building that I mostly use for motorcycles. I have three, 'o8 Harley Ultra Classic, '00 Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 Classic and '05 Custom Bobber. I publish Full Throttle Magazine for Motorcycle Enthusiasts so motorcycles are my main thing. There is one door on the backside underneath a huge pole barn style cover. That door will be used for my project cars so I want have to get in and out of it often. I park a 30' toy hauler under the cover.
My business booms in the summer months and requires a lot of travel so the next two months will be spent getting the garage finished. I look forward to sharing that with all of you and using your tips to get through the process.
