A little more.... First off the company I am dealing with has really been pretty good to deal with on this entire mess. The company that did the HVAC when the house was built sold out to the ones I am dealing with now. First tech visit replaced the thermostat and did some reprogramming. The heated air did seem a bit warmer and what was explained to me was that the 2nd stage (compressor?) of 3 stages was not engaging. Next tech visit spent the vast majority of his time on speaker phone with Bard tech line. They checked every possible parameter of the system and everything falls into their acceptable range. The system is designed for 56K BTU's and is actually producing almost 57K.... What it comes down to is that the system is undersized for the house. The techs thoughts were that possibly the BTU output of the electric boiler may have been used in the calculations for the house which might lead to putting in a smaller BTU geo system... So that's what I know now. Waiting to find out what the new HVAC company's stance is on how to remedy the situation before next winter.....
