Gerber flick-open multi-tool

I favor Leatherman by a huge margin but added a Gerber Flik to my EDC rotation for review. It opens via a sliding mechanism.

Summery:

The Flik is boring but robust, durable, and versatile.
Knives and tools cannot easily be deployed single-handedly.
Pliers can be deployed single-handedly and can close easily but it takes a few tries to get used to it.

Overall, a nice MT. Not my favorite by a long shot, but it's a solid model I can't find any real fault with.

I don't recall the COO, believe it to be China or Taiwan. Gerber supplied me with the sample.

I love gerber multi tools. I have the 600 pro scout model. It is supper handy.

Have you replaced the RemGrit saw blade with something else? A multi-tool that accepts full-size jigsaw blades would be terrific.

The Gerbers I've used had sloppy plier actions due to the sliding feature, changed to a more robust SOG Powertool and have never looked back.
