German Air Tools

I have seen all these German hand tools, and tools "from the old world", and I love them, Stahlwille, Hazet, Gedore, Facom, Bahco, etc... But I have yet to see any Impact guns or anything made by them. Any one own any, or atleast know of any?

Hazet and Facom source most, if not all, of their air tools from taiwan designed "to their specifications". I wouldnt be surprised if the other tool brands did the same. Im sure they're high quality tools but dont expect "made in germany" to be on them.

Festool tools are very nice. Can you post some prices on them too? I have thought of switching to German tools for my wood work, didn't even think about air tools, hmm.

They are pretty pricey, I got them from Integrated Manufacturing & Supply, Inc. There designed for manufacturers assembly lines for 24/7 use.

I will try to take some pics, and from what I was told they are German made, but they do have some that are made in Taiwan they have the natural finish aluminium body

I've never used a bosch tool before, I'm sure they are good because they are German made and everyone here seems to like them, but I have always thought of them differently because every tool looks like a toy to me. They just look completely plastic, and the weird blue doesn't help haha.

Biax makes die + angle grinders, Spitznas ( + impact wrenches) + Bosch too. (+ ratchets) But i think the Bosch air ratchet is imported as well as their orbital sander (Made in ROC).

Germany is not really a air tool country and the air tools which you can find here are mostly from Rodcraft or Pneutec (imported from China, Taiwan, Japan) or Ingersoll Rand or Chicago Pnerumatic for the "service/maintance" grade air tools and brands like Pferd, Toku, Yokota, Fiam, Bosch, ATA, Suhner, Biax, Dotco, Atlas Copco ...etc. for production/assembly type of air tools. Spitznas tools are for mining and other areas of explosive hazards, Festool has some air sanders, and there is www.mannesmann-demag.com who offer impact wrenches + ratchets but i doubt that at least the air ratchets are made here.

Yes they do have made in germany on them

Not always, but my hands tend to sweat a lot and the acids and salt in sweat tends to cause corrosion and I hate rust on my tools.

Maybe you should start selling them, at least the Bosch "Service Air Tools" are not that expensive, mostly made in Germany and a alternative to the other more common air tool brands but with a upgraded coo and a famous brand name.

Not all have been used yet, but I do wipe my tools down after using them to keep everything nice and clean.
