The Garage is 10 x 4 Meters and was devided in Garage and a rear shed.

The first year we did just the garade door and the rear door, because it was just the storage for me house material.

2012 i started to work on the exterior, new paint and ther little stuff.

These are some pix where we startet in June 2014 on the right side you can see the first try of covering the walls. It was left over material.

First step was to take out all the wood stuff and get the wall broken to go directly from front to rear.

The Bug looks great! Can you tell us about it in detail?
Just the one photo makes me want to get another to build. The bugs I've had were such great cars to own; inexpensive, fun to drive, reliable, etc.
The last few I had were the ones with rack and pinion steering and were a ball to race around in!

Peace,
DrRick

Bavaria is a very beautiful area - I spent 10 days in the area last fall. I flew into Frankfurt - rented a car to go to Nurburg, and drove around the 'Ring. Then we went to Porscheplatz in Stuttgart and got a factory tour, and went to Oktoberfest in München.
We eventually made it over to Salzburg, and went back packing up Mt Untersberg and in Berchtesgaden.

If you haven't been there - I highly recommend it.

Again - you live in a beautiful part of Germany, if I had the chance - I would move over there.

Garage is looking great - please keep posting updates.

My distant family is from the Bavaria area. My parents have paperwork written as the family was coming across the pond and landing in New York. Very interesting. I someday hope to visit the area.

just to keep you guys updated some pix. Last week was not very productive ... just worked on some details. It takes much time but you can not see a real difference.

One pic shows the left edge of the garage, there is still some work. I have to finish the walls but there is the old electric stuff on it. so first i have to do the new wiring before i can switch and finish.

here are some shots of the actual exterior and also one of the bug.

PS: What i do not like on the forum is the way you can show pix. Why can you not upload pictures in gallery size directly to the forum. I do not like to link to somewhere else.

Her an little update of my german garage.

first i did was monting a big screen for all my evening work.
Later on i was working on a larger workbench that also holds the rest of the cuted wood. My saw has a new workspace. now i can move here where ever i want. everything is on the same hight of 80cm.

today i take a look for some cabinets on the left to store all my stuff that should not collect too much dust.

cheers
