It only comes with screwdrivers. The set retails for $131.51 and I can do $79plus shipping for it. The set comes with 17 screwdrivers 5 flat head, 2 square drive, 2 phillips, 2 flat head VDE, 2 phillips VDE, and 4 torx with steel rack.

I'll preempt his answer a bit by saying I know my, and thus likely his, recommendation would depend on what you work on mostly.

Hello,

There are a few different ones but it would depend on what you are going to be using the for. Hope the info below helps.

The 53167 are the ergonomic ones the handles are 2K with rugged rubber and plastic outside with a soft core so it forms to your hand. They come with hex bolster and added hole for hanging or using a lever bar. These are my favorite.

The 53521 have a 2k handle with rugged rubber and plastic but these have a ********* and no bolsters but has the holes in the handles.

The 50707 is like the 53521 except it has no hole in the handle and has added hex bolster also a steel end cap for hammering.

If you didn't like the rubber handle you can always go with the 200 series which is hard plastic and also there is the wood handles. Lastly the cheaper 800 series these ones have nickle plated shafts and not chrome like all the other felo models.

Hello,

There are a few different ones but it would depend on what you are going to be using the for. Hope the info below helps.

Just keep in mind if you use the 50707 on live electrical wire you will get shocked, the shaft goes all the way through the handle to the steel end cap, even though 53521 are not VDE certified they would insulate your hands from the metal shaft so no getting shocked.

Glad you told me Ash. That's a big selling point for me. I don't need to qualify as a conductor that way. Generally, I shut the breaker, but if I forget, nice to have insulated tools (I have the insulated Knipex cutters).

The only thing that worries me about the "soft core" is that it won't be strong enough or will break under stress. I'm talking about the Ego ones- 53167. Will they be tough enough?

They are very tough, you won't have any problems with them. If for some reason you do they have one of the best warranties I have ever seen so it would get replaced.

When I was buying the Felo screwdrivers, I noticed you had a tool I love, but they don't make them very sturdy here in the US, an automatic wire stripper for electrical work. Knipex, a very fine brand too. And they take replaceable blades which is a big plus.

My experience with the US ones is that when the blade gets dull, they have trouble piercing the outer insulation and don't work well. Sometimes I go a size down and take it easy, but you risk nicking the wire.

So my question is, if I buy this, can you get me some replaceable blades so I have them at the ready?

Hi, no the 109-69-205 does not come in 9 inch, the only one offered by NWS in 9 inch is the 1092-62-225 but this only has dipped handle's. The 138-69-200 and the 137-69-240 have the same cutting specs so will pretty much do the same job. The 138-69-200 is shorter 8", lighter and has a compound cutting action for 40 % less effort. The 137-69-240 is longer 9 1/2", heavier, jaws open a bit more and would be easier for pulling nails out as you get more leverage. So it really would depend on what would work better for you as they are both great cutters.

There are several really good ones besides the Knipex, and would hold up better.

One would be the Rennsteig Ash mentions, but also the Pressmaster Embla (Swedish made, not German if that matters to you), or perhaps whichever one of the Weidmuller Stripaxe models that best fits your requirements (IIRC, you'd need to pay attention to the cutting capacity, as some can strip larger AWG sizes than they can cut).

Of the three, I went with the Embla as they offer 3x different blade cartridges (one of them is a Teflon cartridge, as I have the occasion to need this). These can be had under multiple names, such as Xcelite, Greenlee, Wiha, and IIRC, a few others (the Xcelite version seems to be the least expensive).

Of US made, the Ideal units are about it, but they're by no means as quick and convenient to use as any of the others listed here IMHO (still have to select the correct profile).

Hi, Yes the screwdrivers with the rack are in stock, and there are no extra slots pre drilled but there is space to drill your own holes. The stubbies are on order just waiting on Felo they where back ordered so hopefully I will have them in a week or two.
