You can get the Facom 440s in a kind of full polish finish, oh wait, I think those are made in Taiwan.

I'll go back to my original equation.:beer:

I like the non bling finish on my Stahlwille wrenches. I also love the jewlery chrome finish on my Flank drive Snap-ons but I always feel like im gonna scratch them, which shouldnt be a concern with TOOLS

Poland isn't part of Germany anymore, if you want full Polish German wrenches you'd have to get ones made between 1939 and 1945, I guess.

Why would you want full polish? One of the dumbest things ever. The only feature I hate about my SO wrenches. It's just going to get scratched up and look like garbage.

Lots easier to clean in dirty environments. Matte finishes tend to soak up dirt and grease in all the little crevices. I don't give a damn how shiny my tools are, but I'm partial to easy clean-up, and full polish are by far the easiest to clean.

don't understand . slick oily conditions are exactly satin's best place....it is your best friend

That's what I use nitrile gloves for, and I never have a problem holding on to my polished wrenches when they're covered in oil. I'm sure lots of other people feel differently, but that's why I personally like polished tools, although honestly it doesn't make a big difference to me - polished, matte, or "industrial finish".

Personally if I were after wrenches, Europe wouldn't be my continent of choice for the manufacturer. I've never been impressed with any European wrench regardless of finish.

I personally use both stahlwille and snap-on tools and love both, but I do at times wish that my snap-ons were less like a mirror, not because there is anything wrong with nice chrome but more because I like the older finish you find on older script logo snap-on stuff from back in the day.

As far as german wrenches though I am really not sure, my experiance with german tools is mostly stahlwille and while they are chromed they arent snap-on like chrome.
