Was in Lowes today and noticed these German made pliers by Irwin. Any one know if these are rebranded Knipix? First I'd seen or heard about them.

Side cutters too. A bit pricey on the angled needle nose ones for me but guess it's not too bad if you needed them.

i paid $39 for the 8" cutters in lowes, and $35 for the 9.5" lineman pliers with the crimper off eBay from a private seller, NIP.. They were $55 on Amazon.. I can't find the lineman pliers under the NWS brand, but i suggest sticking with buying online from anyone selling nws since irwin did not import the entire line (yet?).. might be worth it if you decide you want to get some other stuff and like matching tools. if you only want of need couple, then irwin will be fine.

and if you want the channellock style pump pliers, you'll need to buy them from klein, cause irwin didnt, and ill assume wont be able to sell those since klein is already selling the nws pump pliers under their own label.

Not sure, this store is located on the Alabama gulf coast. We have 3 stores in town and I find the same items priced differently all the time in the 2 that visit regularly.

Funny I tried searching all over lowes for a good hour today but I have yet to see those elusive Irwin pliers. They tell me they are in the system and the store has them but I have yet to find any, oh well at least others are finding them.

a store in SC had them for $9.99.. i ordered 2 online, to pick up in the store (planning on calling the store itself and asking them to ship it to me for an additional fee) and not more than 3 minutes after i placed the order, a customer service rep (NOT from that store) called me telling me they were cancelling the order because there "were none left" which is a lie im betting.. im sure they noticed the online order placed from NJ to a store in SC running a local deal, and killed the order..

The ones that I saw weren't in the tool section but on an end cap between hardware and the window/door area near the back of the store.
