So, my brother came home with this:

He found it while walking in the woods. It originally had wooden scales, well, scale. The wood didn't survive outside too well, and the remaining scale was removed before its electrolysis bath (it may need a little more time to cook). He has tried Google, and so have I, but we've found nothing. We're just looking for a little history on it. The handle is marked, "TAYLOR MFG W-GER."
