After reading several threads in which guys were bummed about not getting a Stahlwille truck coming by the shop, I talked to our guy who comes by every other week. He informed me that there are only 3 German tool trucks serving shops in California...his, his fathers & his brother. I told him about GJ and what I've read and after a little coaxing, he has agreed to take phone and email orders from Garage Journal members ONLY. Members will have to cover any shipping charges and if you guys in the L.A. area check out the website theres a number for his father, who may be able to start coming by your shop (no promises). Here is his contact info. :

I bought a hazet socket from a mobile german tool dealer here in Los Angeles back a few months ago. The guy had a Dodge sprinter type van and the logo was green on it if i remember correctly. All together i have seen the guy a handful of times rolling around, and to this day have never seen a Cornwell truck any where near Los Angeles.
