Gerstner Box Date?

Hey guys...I got this box from my uncle this year for Christmas. Obviously he kept it in immaculate condition, I am thrilled and honored to own it. It was full of his best tools too. Anyway, does anyone know the date of this?? And I have an idea of its worth, but I'd like to know what you all think on that too? Thanks

i got home and double checked my notes.
i was a little off(i forgot one date).
i can say that chest is between '73 and '82.

Sometimes the manufacturing date is written on the underside of a drawer.

First off you ****. Christmas present FILLED with tools. You double ****!

Were it mine it would take about $600 to get it off of my hands, MINUS tools.

It did have some numbers on the bottom, but according to the gerstner site, those numbers do not correspond to the dates at all. on the back edge of some of the drawers they had numbers like 325-1, 325-4 so i figured those were just to keep the drawers fit to their correct spot while sanding and finishing. Yes the tools are amazing too, I will post some pics of them a little later. Kept it under the cover too, and a towel on top of that.

i thought about having one custom made for me.
but in black and maybe w/ my initials.
you can buy 'em from gerstner but they're only in brown, but they're only about 40 clams.
the upholstery shop i work w/ said no problem they could make me one.
but i dought they could do it that cheap w/ materials and labor
