They should be purchased as single use tools, but sometimes they surprise. Who cares at the price, AND the price IS negotiable!

I have dead-blow hammers that have lasted as well as body hammers. Wrenches are definitely single use as are punches. I doubt I'd buy anything power from them regardless of the price.

The blatantly false Ebay ad is what really bothers me. These are not Snap on tools. Performance tool sells Harbor Freight grade products.
Not the first time I have seen this on Ebay.

Guys look at Diesel-Mechs link. These are tools made for the company that makes the engines. I think you may have heard of Cummins diesel before?

Yeah the company that makes the Dodge Ram engines.

It is quite possible that they were made by an Snap on subsidiary. My New Holland tools were made by Williams.

OK with that said the price is totally nutz.

i'm not sure they are made by performance tool, but thats the name cummins uses to market them. this link states made in usa......maybe they are contracted by snap on/williams using NOS handles?

the only other thing on the tool to identify it was the "every" trademark which is assigned to cummins......

There is no question that Cummins has knocked off the Snap-on Hard handles, but this IS Chinese junk.

I had a set of these with orange handles, the exact color as the orange snappys. I got them in a collection, I ended up throwing them out.

Performance Tool = Junk = Cummins Tool = Cinese ****

Too bad for the diesel engine manufacturer that their name is being tarnished in this way. If they have anything to do with this, shame on them.
