This weekend I cut, stained and nailed about 110 , 11" cedar trim boards. Not fun, but not that bad with nail gun. Good test of the 15 gauge Rigid gun I picked up last week. One jam... I used 306 SS nails.

Next up was the window trim. Its the plastic stuff. The upside is its easy to work with and will never rot. For some reason I made the window sill out of cedar.

View from the front... I cant wait to get the rest of the siding on.

I have been at this for about a year now. One man project.... I'm down to the final trim and the siding for the attic sections.

I just wish I had a week off from work so I could finish! As long as I'm done before the rain starts I'm good.

The garage is 24 wide x 26 deep (624 sq feet). The attic has about 375 sq feet that could be used with a little bit of work.

That does look good. By the 3rd pic, I was thinking that sure looks like P-town for some reason. Then I checked your location. I'm gonna guess Southeast?

Nice job looks great:thumbup:

Thanks... I'm at that point where I need all the inspiration I can find. One motivator is that the re-finance of my house wont go through until I have the siding on the garage done. The new loan is a really great deal.

Needs to get done either way, but this pushes the issue a bit. Pretty much I have three weeks to make it look finished.

I need to finish the top section of the back as well. The up side is the back does not have a window. I'm getting pretty close.

NE Portland, near Alberta Park. I built the garage to match the look of the house.

P-town as in Provincetown MA? As a teen, I used to spend my summers on the outer cape.
