After hosing up the first attempt and having the inspector point out my failed attempt, I've completed the repairs he told me to perform. I'll add a couple of before and after pics.

Are you allowed to bury those FNMC 90deg fittings in the wall? I thought 90deg fittings could only be buried on MC, and those on conduit and flex have to be exposed.

LFNC in the code, Article 356. 356.42 does say that "angle connectors shall not be used for concealed raceway installations" but I'll bet the inspectors won't gig it. All he has to do is tell the inspector he is going to just screw the sheetrock on and not tape or seal it.

I'll bet the inspector will be happy to see it.

I did exactly what the inspector told me to do. Asked him twice as to what he was taking about when he described the parts. And, as I have read here in a few places, I'll do whatever the inspector tells me. If he is happy that is all that counts.

its been in there forever. if it has screws to take a cover off, or if you have to take it apart to get wire through it (as in the LFNC 90 deg fitting) you cant bury it in the wall

This is how I handled mine. It is a 200A entrance.

Straight shot from the load center to an LB. Then thru the wall.

I set the box just so the cap would be FLUSH with the interior wall covering.

Outside it goes directly into the meter box.

Passed Inspection

Inspector left a little while ago and was OK with everything. I will need to have an access to the elbows and LB box in the shop but other than that, I'm cleared to continue. I also asked about the amp capacity for the shop concerning the breaker in the house panel. After he explained the chart regarding my particular application I was able to pull the 60amp breaker out and re-install the 100amp. Much happiness was had by me.
