I hadnt been able to work on the Shop for about the last 2 months. With help I got a couple of benches built last weekend and having been bringing stuff from my Shed or Garage every time I go to the Shop and it is finally looking like a place that work can be done in. The fire in me to get it done has been relit

There is still a ton of work to do. I hope to get the walls insulated and covered within the next month .... that would give me enough work building Shelving and Cabinets to keep me busy until Spring.

A couple of pics to share

The Chop Saw bench. the Bench is the same height as the table on the Saw. I will put a small Shop Vac under the saw to catch the dust

I spy a Monte Carlo SS under cover:D I'm guessing 86? How big of a shop you have? I am in the process of building me a new shed to continue working on my 86 SS. I am building a 30x50 shed, getting ready to set trusses this weekend:bounce:

Keep updates coming and good luck,
Joe

Yep it is a 1986 SS all original, 162k miles, the Carb or Valve Covers have never been taken off the car !! I bought it from the original owner 4 yrs ago and have put maybe 2,000 miles on it.

Onto the Shop ... Is it 40'w x 30' deep w/ 13' walls. 2"x6"x10' studs on top of 30" of concrete block.

Even though it feels like years ago .... the framing was done in March. I am really pleased with the way it is coming out and how everything is fitting into a place.

Here is a link to my photobucket page with pictures starting from when we purchased the lot behind us, had it surveyed and added onto our existing lot to what is going on now.

Good Luck with your Shop !!! Plan, Plan, Plan ... and even get opinion from others. I used microsoft Paint to do most of my planning. Better programs out there that make prettiier pictures .. but do the same thing.
