Just been introduced to this site by some American Cobra Owners.

I have just purchased a house in Brighton, Victoria Australia and an wanting to build the PERFECT GARAGE with a house infront of it. I have just started to get the local council regulations sent out and this site will certainly help me design the thing.

I should give more details.

I am planning on a 46ft x 23 Ft x 20ft High. I want it to be made from besser bricks with a flat roof ( so I can go 20ft high ) with 3 or 4 2 & 4 post hoists, bar area, living area, storage and so on.

By the sound of the threads I was reading last nite you also have the big bad council people attempting to reduce our fun by restricting or limiting our garage builds. I have just purchased a house (knock down we call them) on a large block. I want to do the garage and live in it while the house is being constructed. The house is livable for a year ot two so no worries there.
Hopefully this is the last time i have to move. I am CAR GUY but more of a cleaner/collector than a builder so I will leave the building to the experts.
