Getting MHF into my house panel

Planning my power to my up and coming shop. 30x30. 165ft from the house. Still haven't decided on 2-2-2-4 breakered at 70amps in the house panel or 2/0 breakered around 90, but that's not my main question. (But I'll take any comments on the matter)

Anyway, was under the house today (crawl space) checking on another issue, and decided to take a look and plan getting my mhf wire up into the panel. I knew there was an unused 2" conduit coming down into the crawl space from my panel and had planned just to use it, but once I saw it, I quickly remembered where it was located. Obviously, no way I'm gonna be able to attach my pvc conduit to it (see attached pic) so that leaves me seeking some advice on how to handle this? I really don't want to use SER and then splice it to my MHF IF at all avoidable, as I really don't want a huge splice box on the outside of my house right by the pool. Nor do I want to have to open a wall in my house.

Any suggestions?

Panel is located flush in the wall directly above. The conduit you can see (with the single yellow romex) comes straight down out of the panel.

Ok, Now I see the conduit.

A little sawzall action and you could get a 90* or 45* on that. Gotta be a little careful around the wires but it looks doable.
