I have a working shop that is ready to have the floor redone.
It was originally done in a clear coat 8 years ago.
I will likely go back to clear coat to avoid the obvious scratches in a color coat.
The clear hides scratches fairly well if you don't look too close.
My only gripes with this floor is it will not resist brake fluid or non clorinated brake clean.
I wipe up immediately but that is not quick enough to avoid damage.

My question: Is there any product out there that will absolutely resist brake fluid or brake cleaner?

Thanks

Rustoleum makes a clear 2 part clear epoxy which might work for you. I bought 2 kits at Lowes. I have never found it at their online site, but they did have it in our local store, still do. I just put it on, over their gray epoxy, 10 days ago, and so far it seems plenty tough. I used 2 of the 3-500 sq ft kits for my 875 ft garage and had just enough.

You MAY have to remove the old sealer for it to adhere properly. Rustoleum has a 1-800 tech line and you should ask the experts what prep you willl need. Good luck
