Getting ready to start project

Hello

I'm getting ready to start my floor project. I'm got the concrete crack filler today Rustoleum brand 2 part to fill the crack first. I looked at the epoxy kits Menards had. They were Rustoleum also I think Ill got with the professional kit but it didn't include the etching kit I must have to buy separately. Anyway.... any tips on filling the cracks?????

When you say you're filling the cracks are you referring to the expansion joints?

no, cracks from a slab that never had expansion joints ... cold weather
