So one of the original GFCI's in the kitchen tripped last week for some unknown reason, and I think it tripped when it wasn't being used, but I'm not sure. My wife uses that outlet to charge her phone, and the other two downstream outlets are sometimes used for her pressure cooker. Since this outlet looked a bit yellow I decided to just install a new unit that has a small green led to indicate power. When I was removing the original unit, I discovered that the line-in neutral was somewhat on the loose side. Could this be a reason as to why the unit tripped? Just wondering....
