Ghost Shield 8505 over acid-stained concrete

I am looking at using GhostShield 8505 for its hydrophobic and oleophobic properties on my driveway. I want to stain or color the concrete first though and was wondering if GhostShield 8505 would work on acid-stained concrete?

Acid stain needs to be sealed with a topical sealer for maximum pop.
Thin sealers, penetrating stains, densifiers will not do it justice and it will not be protected well.

You want a solvent based topical sealer.

Thanks for your response.

It's actually more important to me that I keep the concrete's co-efficient of friction as-is which is why I wanted to use the penetrating sealer. Would a non-acid stain work better in this case then? Would there be any that you'd recommend specifically that would work well with Ghostshield 8505?

All stains looks dull after they have been applied and the concrete has dried. A topical sealer is what brings out the color. It's kind of like looking at old wooden floors that have lost all their appeal and protective coating. If you wet them, you can see the color of the wood "pop" and see the true potential of the wood.

Add anti-skid. We have an ultra-fine version that works really well and won't hurt your feet! Problem solved.

SO long as the acid has been neutralized you could use the TLPPC product in a multi step application.
