Ghostshield 4500 vs Foundation Armor L3000

Anyone have input which is better to use before a sealer? I have 1200sqft power towel smooth concrete that I want to denisify before applying a sealer.

I've read both technical data 4500 says 100% actives and L3000 says 25% solids.

Does anyone have any information that says they are different in any way besides name alone?

Can a sealer be applied over densifier? I don't think the sealer would adhere.

In most cases a sealer which is topical can be applied over a densifer which penetrates. We do not though recommend mixing manufacturers since if there is a compatibility problem no one will take responsibility. Ghostshield, which we carry. offers a densifier/sealer combo.

Epoxies and coatings cannot be applied over sealers since the sealers will repel the coating so they need to be grinded off.

Armorpoxy you are getting ahead of me...I was wondering if one is better/ different from the other before I consider a combo product.

A denisifer alone may solve my goals but I want to have options. If I don't get feedback I'm going to go the cheaper route for the densifier.

I have eliminated all desire for epoxy.

A densifier doesn't do anything to protect or repel. It chemically reacts with the concrete to make it harder and more durable, and in many cases is a pre treatment for polishing.

First off consider the type of sealer you are using. For 8505 or 8510 I would definitely use the Ghostshield product.

The 4500 is one of the best densifiers I have seen. I am not sure how they arrive at the 100% actives number nor do I love the phrasing of their warranties but it's a darn good product.

Garage flooring some of your reviews is what has led me down this rabbit hole. Before my shop and this site concrete was concrete. Now it's about dusting, density, color, stain resistance, etc.

Armorpoxy - yes I understand the densifier should not change anything appearance wise. Application will be to see how concrete handles work with densifier but does not foreclose a sealer later.

I'm going to order some Foundation Armor L3000 to see how it works and will post up.
