Hi all,

New construction wrapping up and I'm looking to cover some 1600 sqft of garage/porch concrete.

If I'm using 4500 densifier on the troweled garage floor, what kind of coverage can I expect per gallon of 8510? I'm seeing some posts that suggest that you can extend coverage when paired with 4500. Additionally, is 4500 still recommended for use on a power troweled finish?

Thanks

The coverage is very dependent upon the surface finish of the concrete. I used 4500 + 8510 on my porch. I got less than 200 sq. ft. coverage out of 5 gallons because the broom finished concrete sucked it right up.

Ah, ok. I do recall reading that a broom finish will use considerably more product.

Primary concern is the garage for oil spills. This would be trowel finished.

Ghostshield, which we carry, can have varying coverage as stated above based on surface texture i.e. smooth vs. a broom finish. We have seen it as low as 250 sq ft and up to 500 sq ft.
