Ghostshield 8510 - How to Flood coat?

Hey all,

I'm getting ready to install 8510 on my slab. I have read that it should be applied in one "flood coat" but I'm not sure what this means. I assume it means applying enough that it's really wet but what exactly am I looking for here and how can I tell how much is too much or too little? Appreciate any tips or suggestions.

I am planning to spray it on with a pump sprayer that has viton seals.

Apply using a sprayer at a coverage of no greater than 300 SF per gallon. The concrete should be completely saturated and should take some time for the sealer to soak in. For some exterior concrete, we have had to go to 250

Ok, so I finished installing 8510 to about 800 sq ft of my slab. Ended up using just over 3 gallons (close to 3.5) and saturated it very well with an Echo MS200 pump sprayer (held up great and only $30 with viton seals).

8510 was a pleasure to work with! If it performs as great as it was to install I should be a very happy man

Thanks! Give it a week and then you should see full effect of water beading -- not saying stay off it for a week
