I've been scouring the forums and am having a severe case of analysis paralysis...

I have a detached 1650 sqft garage with an attached 750 sqft garage and I had intended on using ArmorUltra Epoxy on a pallet for both buildings... I've already prepped the floor via HD diamabrush.

However, I really can't justify the cost of the epoxy as the detached garage is a working shop, (fabrication, welding, blasting, etc) and if there is an issue with the application, or if it does get damaged moving in heavy equipment I feel like it's a waste at that point. In reality I just need something that will be durable and clean up, I don't need it to look perfect.

With that being said I've looked at some of the GhostShield options and am considering one of the two:

Sealed Concrete:
Lithi-Tek 4500 densifier
Hydro-Stain 1500 Stain
Siloxa-Tek 8510 Sealer

OR

Epoxy 325
Urethane 645

Everything I've read on the forums obviously points to using 100% solids epoxy and using a good topcot to have a durable finish that I'd no doubt get for $4k.... However since I'm really more concerned about stains and quick cleanup I'm thinking that one of the two choices I listed would be a better option.

I've seen a good bit of info on the Ghostshield sealers but not much on the epoxy and urethane. Looking to get some feedback from the GJ masses so I can finally order something and get to work!

Thanks!

I'm looking at a new 1200sqft garage as well, I decided on a lithium densifier and ghostshield 8510, but before I do those I was also going to put down a bit of color with Surecrete eco-stain. Not sure how well that product might work on your existing floors though. I know it won't be the **** shiny look but it will be super stain resistant.

Now that you prepped the floor, I would highly suggest a coating. The profile you created will just be a dirt trap with something like 8505 or 8510.

I would look at a good polyurea kit https://www.garageflooringllc.com/polyurea-garage-floor-coating-kits/ or high solids kit https://www.garageflooringllc.com/garage-floor-epoxy-kits/ -- easier to install than 100% but we have that too.
