An absolutely beautiful D/P. Possibly a Buffalo or Cannedy Otto, always amazes me how so many C/L listers are too stupid to list the brand of something they are selling. I think the price is way over the top--$2-300 maybe on a good day.

Somebody salvaged it out of the desert and is now turning a wishful buck.

It is a Cannedy Otto, as far as being 3 phase, that doesn't matter, simple to either swap out the motor, add a vfd, or run it off a phase converter.

An even larger DP has been sitting in the back room of a local truck repair shop. Everyone who sees it tells the owner, "Man, that's an antique. I betcha it's worth $2500@" He never cleans it up or puts it out for sale, but he'll be happier thinking it's worth big bucks than the chump change those old honkers actually bring.

That's too bad. Who the hell thinks a drill press is worth $2500 I don't care how cool it is.

I paid more than mine was worth, but it had a huge vice and a lot of Morse taper drill bits that I can use in my lathe too, so I looked at it like I paid for the tooling and got the drill for free.
