Gidday everyone thought I would let you know a bit about me and my workshop/Shed down under , I'm retired moved to the country and decided that I needed somewhere to think tinker and build or rebuild .
We live on 120 acres northwest of Bathurst NSW ,the wife and 5 kids , I have a founded mechanical background and have built 4 hot rods years back hopefully there is another around the corner .
Any how my shed is steel frame ,metal clad and is made up from reused or recycled materials ! ( frame is new ) still not finished but it sorta getting there !

Seems I have to try an URLs ? To put up more pics ,
Anyhow I was given a vertical milling machine the catch was to get it out of the old mans shed ,done easy ! Pipe rollers and brute strength ! I also have an old Milwaukee horizontal mill , and resting nicely is a Demco ww2 era long bed lathe
She runs really well 3meter bed is great for large jobs !

Seems like most sheds I have too many projects , but wat the ! Always room found for lister diesels. Too !

Is that name related to "the Listers", like the Lister Jags etc....?

By the way, you're not Hewey's brother are you, in Peel?

Reason for asking is I went through Peel, and Wattle Flat on the weekend in my XJR en-route to Hill End (see pictures later in my thread). You may or may not have seen the red flash go by!!!!

Or maybe you're on the other side road on the way back to Bathurst.

Welcome mate! That's a neat looking shed, and sounds like you're a handy kinda guy. Would love to see some pics of the rods you've built.

Searched Google for "Sofala Australia." Got a hit that describes Sofala as a small village. Went to the map and found the village. The map highlighted the Royal Hotel and two cafes, the Safala and one that is apparently in the old jail or something. Did not see any reference to a pub which seems strange even for a village in Australia. In any case it looks like a good place for a self reliant man to set up and live out his life.

Usually the pub is downstairs and the Hotel accommodation is upstairs. Technically they're a Hotel with a bar, but we just call them 'the pub'

Hewey never said his brother's name was Linton???? And your the brother with the XY Fairmont (going from your handle) that was down at Eastern Creek for the Shannon's Show a few weekends ago....

And you probably never saw the red flash go through Peel and Sofala last weekend either. I was having to hold the girl back to 120, but she really wanted to go. Those roads around there, coming in from Bathurst, are magnificent. They get a bit tight on the run out of the valley toward Hill End though.

Dazza, sorry for the hijack, I just thought that needed commenting on.
