I'm getting ready to leave my current job (Moving on to something new and bigger) and I've been telling some good clients that I'm moving on and it's been a pleasure dealing with them over the years. One client is a retired machinist and we always spoke about how tools back in the day were quality/didn't fall apart. He also admired my attention to detail and care I gave his car. I mentioned to him that I'd love to find some NOS Petersen, Dewitt MB USA made Vise Grips of any vintage without IRWIN labels just to own as a conversation piece since I already own a complete set of Grip-Ons
Today he stops in for a few minutes and gives these to me... Needless to say I was completely speechless. I've received some good gifts from clients over the years but nothing compares to this.
