Looks like they have a new version out with the new super double whammy "lithium ion" batteries, whoo!
Here's a good way to tear up your drill.

That's a Craftsman gimmick I haven't seen before...
Oh yea, my dad has that one, complete with the box as depicted! I still recall seeing him go to town on one of the hedges in front of the house when I was growing up. Very hokey indeed!
I think I figured out who made the funky craftsman "Multisocket" Eight-In-1 Socket Wrench, Raised Panel Version; Williams!
You want gimmicky? Take a look at this ratchet I picked up the other day at a flea market. It is called a "Push Wrench" and is made in Korea. It combines a multi-wrench type of head with a ratcheting action. You puch the button forward and it opens up the jaws. The selector lever works like a normal ratchet. The jaws are controlled by a thin cable.
I don't know why I bought it but I did. Enjoy.....

My Pop used that in his service station for oil changes all the time, but that was all they used it for...
That looks like it works similar to the Crescent RapidRench:
I just won this multiwrench for cheap. I also got a gator grip socket for like $2.00.
I have the Robogrip pliers. I don't mind getting that gimmick stuff for cheap and I can put in the road box. Usually they won't fit where you want them to. If it's cheap I'm sure there will be a time when it pays for itself.
I got my multiwrench yesterday in the mail. It was brand new, but I was disappointed to find out it's made in Taiwan, and the chrome was already flaking off. Now I just have to figure out how to use it.
Yep, Sears has the same tool except that it's a red LED instead of blue ...
Not sure if these have been posted, but here's my contribution. The Craftsman "Reflex" ratcheting adjustable wrenches. Biggest POS set of tools that I own. I absolutely hate these things.

I have no problem with gimmicky tools...I just wish I would stop getting them as gifts.
I hate pretending to be excited about stuff I know is junk.
