Girlfriend bought a tool today

Me and the GF hit a lot of sales and she is getting a good eye. I always blurt out names for her to remember and what to grab if Im not around. I was in the garage at a sale today and she came in after a bit from searching the other rooms. " You said old Stanley is good so I got this and I don't even know what it is, I paid $1. Pretty cool she read the fine print on the box and saw Stanley tools.

For $10 that would still be a great find. Now have her find the hand drill to go with it.

I've got enough of those to reach 6' and believe me they come in handy every now and then. Snaked a rigid gas line straight up a wall through a line of 1 1/4" holes in the framing last year.

Brace, John, brace. A hand drill you crank a geared wheel. They have a different chuck.

Yes a definite keeper she is. I am always telling her what to look out for and am proud of her for this score. She missed a salesman sample vise at a flea market a few weeks back and called me all bummed. A girl who likes picking as much as I do, well I scored big time.
