Got a pretty cool present from my son.
Found it in a thrift store in Chicago for $2.

That looks like a nice find. Do you know if it shows or mentions any wrenches? I used to run into this one wrench with that name. It‘s a a single end box wrench that has a knurled handle. Probably have one around somewhere.

I remember the Gisholt buildings in Madison, WI. Sad to see all of that manufacturing expertise gone. I think that a cousin of my father-in-law worked at Gisholt in the 1950s-60s.

-There's a couple of used book stores in Chicago I used to go to after work every Friday. I found several great books now on my bookshelves for a pittance. Also a couple of stores nearby when shopping for rare or out of print books. The hunt for or unexpected find was a nice way to end the week.

Sounds like my son has found a few.

One of the things I always look for when out and about, are older books on technical subjects; woodworking, HVAC, Welding, etc. And I have found quite a few to add to my book collection. And it is a nice way to tie together two of my passions, working with my hands and working with my mind...
