GJ been down for several hours

Hi all, just wanting to check and see if GJ was down for others this morning for at least 2hrs.

I tried on home internet, cell phone connection and guest wifi at a hotel.

It was down since at least 7:30am. It just now came back up

Ok good to know it wasnt just me. That was my main concern. Thought i may have been blocked or something.

What happened?

And just FYI a couple days ago it went down. But it was shorter than this outage.

Actually, this morning was the first time we've had an outage in 517 days... according to the server anyhow.

What happened this time? I forgot to pay a bill. Seriously. :/

Yeah, I saw it go down; withdrawals started immediately. I was a basket case but had to use my lunch break to run to the GF's place to diag the no-start on the riding mower and then grab the starter relay on the way back to the office. I sort of got my mechanical intervention taken care of so as to buy some time until GJ gets back online. It worked perfectly as it was running when I checked from the office, later.

This morning's read at 6 EST seemed to have limited diversity or new content. This afternoon is much different. Suggests server cache, didn't see access problems then, between me and GJ. Sorry you had to deal with it!

I was at work and tried to check in while on my phone, got busy and checked later all was good.


However, I got a call from a friend passing the house. He says cable line ripped down. I go home and check it out, have dispatch put in a work order for repair. Not happening till Wednesday between 1600-1700.

So there won't be much internet action from home until middle of the week.
