See, I'm not the only one. Someone else has the same affliction. Like potato chips, you can't have just one.

Haha! no you can't! :3gears:

One DD, two projects, and one "parts car"... (It hit a fire hydrant, and a guy pulled the engine/****** and gave it to me - Frame is busted up front)

The DD about a month ago:

Figured I would drop a hint or two here......

Sounds odd coming from a Scout guy, but I'm into Jeeps. Anything with "Jeep" is cool. I wear an XL t-shirt too.

Little metal boxes intrigue me too. Socket boxes, little kit boxes etc....

Or, a couple Quickfist clamps to mount a shovel in my '73 Scout.

Thanks!

Scott

I don't usually post in the "hints" thread but here goes. I like Proto and Plomb tools, but pretty much have that locked down. Hobby machinist & metal fab. Will be happy with the gifts I receive.

Not much I "need" in the form of tools right now, but new tools are always great. I'm a big fan of Knipex and any US Brands. Have pretty much all the sockets I need in 1/4" and 3/8" drive. Recent projects have been re-insulating the attic in the garage, some table lamps made from motorcycle shocks, and small things around the house. I don't wear hats and wear a size medium shirt.

Not much to add since last year's SS helper post, bought a house with a proper shop lol. Still drink beer and wear hats,. L-XL in shirts. Been welding a lot more recently. Picked up a stick welder not too long ago.

Well - it might be too late but I appreciate any vintage machinery/ factory pics, I like any car stuff. I'm a mopar guy. Old or new American tools ( or German). Wear a XXL. New into woodworking, love to glue metal together , home automation and gadgets. Avid DIY'er, love vintage Power Wagons from the 40-60's. Hope that helps a little!

Hopefully it's not too late for this, I love participating in this every year. A little about me, I have a wife and 2 kids a boy age 4 and a girl age 2. I am a maintenance technician at a museum. I also do home repairs in the evenings. I have a chevy truck, and I have driven some type of Subaru since I got my license in 2006. (Haha) Some of the stuff I like/could use:

Dewalt 20v tools
Dewalt tough system toolboxes
Fluke multimeter (basic meter - ohms, amps, volts)
Snap on hard handle screwdrivers (old black)
Klein tools
Channellock tools

Really anything my SS comes up with I will love!

Well... I am bumping this one more time, just as a "nudge nudge wink wink" for those who are really daring... Unless you really don't mind that box full of slightly dusty hairballs from the cat, an empty bottle of night train, and those repurposed condom wrappers...

Seriously - some people are just hard to get presents for.

If my SS already sent me something no worries.

I'm into woodworking, and looking to get into welding.

Thank you!
