Gentlemen
To those of you who are having probems and concerns on things arriving late may I suggest that a PM on Christmas eve or day be sent assuring the receipient that it is on the way. I would be fine with that if you happen to be stressing over me. This is for fun and good intentions.

Bubble wrap IS wrapped, isn't it?
I am so uncool. I had to find just the right size box to come in under weight, and all I had was a used cardboard box. I ship so much ebay stuff, that I can't stand throwing them out.
We ARE sending stuff to other men. Can't be TOO tidy...people will wonder.

Darn was I supposed to wrap it up,does old newspaper count as wrapping? I packed it up so tight that it will take my GJ recipient at least 30 min just to get all the outside tape off the post office box,and another 10 min.,just to undo all the newspaper.

Ok, here's the deal. I had the SS items on the bench, in the shop. The wife (being noisy) says why are these things here in a box? I told her they were for my SS recipient on GJ.

Are you going to wrap them she asks? No, I said, the box will say SS outside so they won't open it until Christmas. She shakes her, utters the word "Men" in a sarcastic tone and retreats back in the house.

So that night I go to work. When I return in the morning the SS items are wrapped. I wasn't mad about the wrapping, I was miffed that she messed with my stuff in the shop. My wife insists that all presents should be properly wrapped and displayed. Always the Miss Etiquette.

Personally I don't care if our SS stuff is wrapped. But it is the Holidays and we must keep our women happy. I promise next year to hide everything and claim ignorance when questioned.

Happy Holidays!

Well maybe we should have a bit of a contest for the most 'Manly' wrapping job. My guy is going to need tools to get my packing open. I do like this confirmation of receipt being posted here so us SS's can rest easy that the shipper did not muff it.

EXACTLY!!!

So how are you guys trying to keep the "Secret" in SS? If we have to ship it (especially Int'l) it has to have a return name....although I made one up...Now I hope it gets there and doesn't get flagged as fake!!:headscrat

The secret part was only the shopping and gift giving. Most of last year's people included their screen names in the packages.

I sent it with an alias - let's see if he can figure it out!! (I'm guessing he will as he's one of the smartest guys on here - no offense to anyone else!!)
