FYI for those looking for Gladiator Garage products:

Amazon is running a promo until Dec 31st that takes 20% off all Gladiator Garage Products. Discount is applied automatically at checkout.

Their prices seem to be a bit above Sears sale prices, but when you take 20% off, then consider the free shipping and no sales tax, Amazon easily beats Sears.

FYI, Sears' units are welded, Amazon's is "ready to assemble", so you cannot directly compare prices like that.

Actually Amazon sells both the RTA and the premier line. Amazon sells every product Gladiator makes. Look closer

I did a manual search the other day and only 3rd party sellers came up. Strange.

Anyhow, this is still a good deal, but people need to shop around, especially if they want the premier welded units. For example, the 30" premier series Gearbox is currently $144 at Sears after discount. At Amazon it's $167 after discount. On heavier items Amazon factors the cost of shipping into the product.

When I first saw the deal a few weeks ago, I intended on picking up one additional GearChannel track. They cost $9-11 at Lowes and Sears. I don't remember how much the single channel was on Amazon, but the 2-pack is $30, which is still a bit more expensive than elsewhere even after discount.

Whirlpool's wholesale price on the 30" premiere (welded) is $147 but have to be shipped. So Sears is a good deal at $153 with tax.

I don't think it happens often, but on 2 occasions I've got the 30" welded cabinets from Sears for $100 on sale.

Yes, the $100 price happens about twice a year. Most recently it was on the weekend after thanksgiving, but getting it to $100 was dependent on the 20% Bing cash back, which has been hit or miss with sears purchases.

The best savings for Amazon is no tax and free shipping (even on heavy items).

What's the difference between RTA and the premier? Both look pretty similar to me. Is premier's outside shell welded in one piece? The load rating seems close as well. Is it really worth to spend more on the premier one?

Product line comparison.

Premier will look nicer, but the RTA will serve you just fine if you are trying to save money.

Sears has the 30" uppers on sale starting tomorrow for $99 Pick them up in Delaware no sales tax!

I saw that when I was in sears today but they only have 1 in stock in that store. I thought the price would be the same on sears website and thought I could just order it online at that price by midnight today. Turned out it's not the same online.
