These are my first Gladiator units and I'm surprised how sturdy they are.

I also have a few 36 in. W x 72 in. H x 18 in. D coming in to the local HD store for PU tomorrow. Very excited to see them!

The ones at Lowe's aren't identical to these. These are welded units, Lowes has the RTA bolted units. I would gladly pay 10% more for these.

The ones from Sears are WAY better than the RTA ones. Not only do you avoid the hassle of putting them together, but they're more solid and "assembled" here in the States instead of in China!

Lowes sells the welded units online with free delivery to the store. My Sears closed recently and I was hoping for a bit of goodwill on the price match, unfortunately not.

Let this serve as a reminder to open both ends and check it out in store before you load it in your vehicle. I've returned 2-3 of these through the years that had dents, despite good looking exteriors on the boxes. it's usually on the bottom as pictured. the top has the mounting rails to protect it, but can still come damaged as well.
I picked up two more at Sears today while they were still $99, and miraculously I had the opposite experience.

The boxes looked like they'd been hit with a fragmentation grenade. I told the guys bringing them out, "Whoa, those are really torn up" and they offered to cut the boxes open so I could check them. I felt around inside the boxes and didn't feel any buckled or crunched corners, so I kind of hesitantly took delivery.

I got home and held my breath as I unboxed them - they were perfect. HOW, I don't know. The boxes were all but destroyed. The Sears guy told me "The whole last shipment of these we got in looked just like this..."

Went on Monday morning and got 3 cabinets for $99 each.

A little surprise. I found some boxes in a corner of the Gladiator set up at Sears. This corner was full of Gladiator stuff people ordered but never paid for or picked up. There was one box which had an unusual cabinet in it and the manager behind me said it has sat in the corner since April of 2012. I had the manager who was moving stuff around scan the box and found that it was clearanced on sale for $155. He said he job tomorrow was to rescan the clearance items to see if prices went down further. Since he was off tomorrow (Tuesday the next day ), he said he would scan for a new price. Turns out, i got this ( i think now discontinued ) cabinet for $105. It's called a Folding Worktable

It's normally $45 when you can find it on overstock/surplus websites. I'm going to mount it above where i store my MIG welder and use it for spray can/welding storage. Dang was i happy walking out of there !

If it's normally $45, why did you pay $105?

I know, it's a typo, I just had to bust you on it ;)

Ordered 2 on Tuesday and got $40 back in points, ordered another one last night and used the points and a gift card to bring the total I paid for 3 to $210 or $70 each! Great deals on these cabinets. Really help clean up the storage in the garage and they are lockable on top of that.

If anyone is looking for that fold-away station, the Lowes in Bloomfield CT has 1 left in stock according to the website for $105. I debated it, but just bought 3 of these and the Milwaukee m18 fuel impact from HD. Time to let the account fill back up for a little while.

Yeah I would love another fold away workstation, CT is a little far to go from Maine though. I can tell you that is the closest one that I know of. Too bad Lowes doesn't do inter-store transfers/shipping.

Well, call me crazy but I bought two for $50 ea. at Lowe's . they were in the store for 1yr. or so. I cut a deal with the mgr. for $50 ea. if I got both and 4 trac's for $6 ea..

Got them home and already have 4- 30" cabinets hanging and could not make these work. couldn't even use them in the shed. Called a few friends and nobody wanted them, so I returned them.

Oh well......

Gladiator Premier all-welded is my preferred Gladiator cabinet but that Gladiator Fold-away Workstation has great reviews and many consider them to be one of the "better" RTA units. $50 is a steal but if you can't use them, you won't miss them

No.

The upper shelves have an overhang too, so you're putting larger things in diagonal either way.

Not everyone gets those same Surprise points. I got ones for clothing this week.

If buying multiple cabinets, it may be better to wait for the usual $99.99 sale price.

i bought 7 of them tonite. picked them up. they were marked 159 each at the store. i showed the sales man the 109 sale price and line and he matched it. then i had a 15 of 100 coupon and he allowed me to use it on 7 separate purchases so they got down to 94 each. then on the 7th one i used the accrued dollar points to save 33 dollars to make the 7th one 61 dollars.

then i had the warehouse guys open each one to look it over. they were all very nice.

i will be surprised if they go back down to 99. but hope they do in case i need more of them.

The 30" cabinet (the welded "premium" version) was in the Daily Deals yesterday. Looks like it is back off today.

I'm having a very difficult time with this. I'm currently trying to stop the outflow of money on this garage build and this is just taunting me...

IN2CJS, would love to see pics of you garage.

You got all the points right way?

The $10 points offer says : "Points redeemable 4/19 - 4/25/15"

I thought you only get the points from the $5 points offer right away.

FYI: If you want to stack one more offer, the SYW website has a $10 points for $100 purchase offer (points redeemable 4/20 - 4/25). You'll need a cheap filler, like safety goggles.

In between the two smaller cabs. Move your parts bins down to your workbench level.

Also, you know that you can reverse the doors on the 24" cabinets, right? I don't know how you handle the lack of symmetry.

I can reverse the door? Sweet...I'll have to add that to my list.

Pic is a couple years old. Have several more cabinets in there, a couple bikes on the walls, etc.

You can tell I cleaned before taking that pic. Doesn't normally look like that...

Hmm...not entirely sure. There maybe have been some extra instant points involved. I used up all my points on the first for $95 OTD. This was Monday. Then today I checked and it said I had $20 in points to used towards another. which I obliged. Hopefully there won't be any more deals. Not sure my garage is big enough.
