I did a quick search, but didn't see this listed already. Looks like sears is running a hot buy on the 5 Drawer Modular GearDrawer Cabinet for $290, 50% off.

Not a bad price, but I would suggest checking one out in store before plunking down your cash. The display model I saw was much lower quality than the one that are advertised as tool chests (you can tell them apart by depth- the tool chest is about 18" deep and the gear cabinet is about 24" deep.) Just felt a lot more wobbly overall, and the sheet metal seemed thinner. The slides may be different too. I'm sure the gear cab is fine for holding sports equipment or other misc stuff that gets piled in the garage, I just wouldn't load it up with hundreds of lbs of tools.
