Hey guys, i'm in the middle of a remodel and was wondering what gladiator cabinet will fit my rakes and brooms? I'm looking at the 72" tall x30" wide X18" Deep. It seems that most have at least one fixed shelf? i just need one to be a chest. Any Suggestions would be appreciated..;)

Not trying to be a smart ***, but can't you just measure your rakes and brooms?

Me personally took some of the Gladiator track and hooks for rakes and mounted them on the outside of my cabinets so they can free hang and I can easily get them.

Welcome to GJ:hellobye:

As far as rakes and brooms, why do you have a rake in your garage? Yard equipment belongs out in the shed. But like Haugy said, I would measure them before buying anything, that way you'll get the size of cabinet you need.

While you are at it, hows about posting up a pic or two of the garage? We like pics on here and the more the better. :D

If you don't have an outside shed, are you allowed to have one where you're at? If so, and you don't have one, I'd seriously look into one so you can get the garage redone like you would like for it to be. There are literally thousands of ideas on here that will definitely spur a movement to do some garage remodeling.

And again....WELCOME!!!!!

On the 72x48x18 (gladiator RTA) in my garage, I think the whole thing would be pretty flimsy without the shelves as intermediate stiffeners. However, if there is nothing stacked on top and no lateral loads, maybe you would be just fine... Brooms and rakes are all dead loads.

Shed = found in the next county after a hurricane. I have 48" mobile home anchors to tie my boats down in the yard...
