Comments Appreciated.

I like them. People across the board like the benches and the welded units. THe track, trackwall and accessories are real good.

Its a toss up between whether people like the Ready to Assemble units, some people complain about the thinness of the metal and durability issues and the drawers sliding out all the way. I have some of both types although prefer the welded units, dont have problems yet with the RTA style. I have some posts re. my bench in the past...

I'm showing the Gladiator line on my site. Whirlpool and Stack-On brands are the same thing. The welded cabinets are much sturdier. As you can see from the photo below the doors are reinforced with an interior stringer to add strength to the sheet metal. Sears sells a ton of these cabinets. When you check prices make sure your checking for comparable items. Sears sales are usually for the knock down units.

Sears has the welded units on sale from time to time. Bought 4 welded 30" wall cabs on sale for $99 each. I think they weigh about 30-40 lbs each IIRC. I didn't buy any of the wall track as I just used 4 lag bolts with doubled up fender washers and attached to the studs.

I have 3 and love them. I, too, attached them directly to the wall studs. And an FYI, I noticed Sears MSRP went up $20. I wonder if we'll ever see them for $99 again.
