I see that Sears has the Gladiator Gearbox 30" wall Cabinet for sale for $119.99. Are these good cabinets? I was thinking about getting 6 of them. Sears shows the manufacture number of Model # GAWG302DRG. It also gives the description as a cabinets that can hold upto 200lbs. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00959036000P

However when I went to the Gladiator site it says they hold upto 400lbs. and list the model number as their Premier 30" cabinet. http://www.gladiatorgarageworks.com/...92/GAWG302DRG/

1. Do you think they are the same cabinets?
2. Are they still worth buying them at this price?

Thank you for any and all opinions.

I picked up 2 last weekend at that 119 price at sears. They are very nice for the money.

I bought 10 of them at $99 each and can definitely recommend them. Even at $119 it is not too bad of a deal.

I had to buy the rails to mount them using the brackets that come with the cabinets. Or, you can mount them directly to the wall. If you do this you need to supply your own screws.

Where are you seeing 107.99? That link shows $284 with an additional link for $119.

The $284 price is from the "marketplace" ****, not directly from Sears. I can't get the Sears price myself either, but it does show up in the search results. Typical Sears website ****, maybe the healthcare people designed that site too! :dunno:

Thanks for the heads up on the coupon. I went in with my receipt and a printout from the website shopping cart with the SAVE15 coupon code applied. They returned my Black Friday order without me having to bring the cabinets back and resold me the two cabinets for 92.99 each. Total paid went from $262.78 to $203.65 including WA sales tax. The comment they made was the warehouse was trying to shed excess inventory hence the cheaper than BF pricing.

It keeps coming up at the $200 plus price for me. Any tricks? I would like to order four.

If I go to sears.com and search on Gladiator, the results list shows a price of 107.99, but the add to cart button doesn't seem to do anything, at least not on my phone. If I click the item, the price comes up as 286+

Their website is a bit of a cluster.

Just got back from Sears, ordered 5 of these on BF at the 119 price and they price adjusted down to 107, and I forgot to tell the sales girl to add in the coupon code for an additional savings. Guess I'm headed back there tomorrow, hopefully I can get the coupon code adjusted also.

The $107 price just worked for me. As did the save15 coupon code. I can pick them up at my local store today most likely. I did have to pay tax but I thought this was a pretty darn good deal. I picked up four of them and will need to get some gear track to mount em up. I am a happy camper this morning.

Btc, I'm going to try and go back to Sears in person, I find this is the best option in trying to take care of something like this, as opposed to doing it over the phone. I like to find the older female employees who usually help me out 9 out of ten times. My wife gets a kick out of the way they help me out, she tells me the older ladies dig me! Lol

Ended up picking up 1 more at $105.

Figure that's good. First time I got two I paid $130 and thought that was great.
Year later picked up two more for $89
So in the middle I'm cool with... if I don't need this one I will just return it..lol but now I have 5 of them.

They do look nice, and easy to mount on the wall that's for sure.

I went ahead and picked up two more of these cabinets. That should be all I ever need, or at least all I need until the next hot deal. With some SYWR points, I was able to get one of them for 82 bucks, which seems like a good deal. The other one came in at 111 after tax and 15 bucks off.

It doesn't look like they are honoring that coupon code on these anymore due to the "hot deal" classification, but it worked yesterday.

I bought two of them at Sears on Black Friday as well, I also got a good deal on the two pack of 8' gearwall panels on the Sears website with free shipping (that's a BIG plus on such a large item). I got them hung last weekend and I am very pleased with them. They are nice and sturdy, and they have a great feel when opening/closing the doors. I wouldn't pay full price for them, but the $119/ea price was fine with me.

Then I unboxed these beautiful cabinets. They are silver vein powder coat, which matches my existing shelving perfectly and the diamond plate doors look fantastic.

Was it pretty easy to mount the gear track? That will be my next purchase, and maybe a stud finder. I'm holding out for one of Sears Buy One Get One deals.

I picked up an adjustable 6 foot maple top workbench on Black Friday. That seemed like a decent deal.

I don't think I would ever pay full retail for any of the Gladiator stuff. Their regular pricing almost seems absurd, but I guess it makes their "deals" feel like a deal.

I need to unbox all of my stuff and check for damage. Their packaging leaves a lot to be desired.

Installing the track was easy. There's a scribed/indented line running inside the grooves of the panel that you run screws through into your studs. I chose to pre-drill them, you don't necessarily have to but I didn't want to take the chance of it splitting. It would have been a piece of cake if I had someone helping me, but I'm stubborn and the wife wasn't home so I figured out a way, lol.

And yea, $240 for one of these cabinets is crazy talk in my opinion, even though they're nice cabinets...at that price I'd just build my own.

I ordered some on Black Friday, but never picked them up, and eventually canceled the order.

I think they are nice, but I really wish they were deeper than 12 inches. I wish they made the same thing in 18 inch deep.
