Anyone using the Gladiator line of cabinets in their garage? If so how is the quality, etc? THANKS!
I have 4 Gladiator cabinets in my daily driver garage and Lista cabinets in my shop. Bought the Gladiators at a garage sale because they were very low $$$ and in excellent shape. They are OK for light use but they are not close to Lista quality. After having had both, I would not purchase new Gladiator cabinets.

Have two of their wall cabinets along with three
roller/undercabinets plus the small fridge.
I am very impressed with the quality.
They are expensive but I went through and
idependent dealer that was willing to deal.

I have a row of Gladiator wall cabinets and a row of Seville floor cabinets. The Gladiator units are more sturdy. I hate the locks because you can't keep the key in them... the key pops out as soon as you let go. I like to keep them locked in case of earthquake. But that's my only complaint. I would buy them in an instant before I paid the kind of money Listas cost. Well, unless I was rich or running a professional shop in which case Lista might actually pay off.

I have a bunch of these and the truth of the matter is they are what they are. They're much better and slightly more expensive than their competitors like Stack On or Craftsman. They aren't near the cabinet as a Lista for instance but Lista probably costs 8 times more than Gladiator. Assuming one understands this they probably won't be disappointed with their purchase.

There may be some truth to that. The stand up cabinets are only 18" deep and their wall mounts are only 12".

Man they look cheep to me. A real shop ought to have real cabinents instead of aluminum and plastic. At least real wood, not particleboard.

Wood is just something else to catch fire. Ok for the show only shop though. Not to good when you're welding, cuttting, and grinding a lot.

I believe a division of Whirlpool makes the Gladiator stuff. Whirlpool doesn't build junk. They've built a cabinet or two. I dont' have them, probably never will, after looking at them in person, they do look up to the task.

This is more like what I like in a shop. Got them from a lab I had to clean out at LSU. I was told to scrap them. Had 40' or so, all with stainless steel tops, three lab sinks. Wish I had kept them all, now. They still need a fresh coat of paint

*Sigh* Yea . . . makes my 1960's era cabinets I rescued from a date with the dumpster look plumb pitiful. At least they are metal, but not very deep. I'm trying to track down some cabinets from a remodel or something . . . that would be cool.

Gladiators Garage Cabinets are made very well. I have two wall cabinets, a stand up cabinet on casters, 6 drawer tool cabinet, maple table and various shelves and holders. Little pricey but the quality is excellent in my opinion.
