Gladiator Garage Parts - What Else Works

Hi All,

Been a lurker on here for awhile, just recently registered and have been doing some posting. Thanks in advance to everyone for inspiring/motivating me to do something with my garage. Albeit I only have a single car garage I think I have made it about 10x better.

My question is in regards to the Gladiator Garage Works products - recently Lowes had the 4' long panels as a BOGO deal so I couldnt pass that up. I also knew full well going into it that the real cost is the brackets and attachments etc. that they sell to go along with it.

I am wondering if anyone has any experience using other cheaper brands with any luck, or using/modifying the Gladiator brand attachments for more functionality? Any guidance here is much appreciated.

The Husky hooks at Home Depot work with Gladiator track. I think Versatrack at Sears will work too. They aren't an exact fit, but close enough.

Sears craftsman hooks work well with the gladiator slat boards. But you cannot use the Gladiator hooks with the craftsman versa track boards.

are you sure? I am in the same boat right now. I love gear wall but to pricey and sears had a buy one get one. I would love to use the gear shelf. Many reviews say you can use many gear product on a versatrack wall.
