It appears sears is discontinuing the original line of 6ft and 8ft gladiator workbenches to make room for the new adjustable height and bamboo top workbenches. I picked up a 6ft for $105.00 and saw the 8ft for $125.00.

Yeah, saw a 8ft for less than $115 but it was 200 miles aways and wouldnt fit in my Subaru

They are available depending on where you live. I want the top for another bench frame I already have, but none in my area

Sears Outlet near me wants $245. One for $90 in Mississippi is the closest cheap one.

Nice pickup. I almost drove 160 miles to get a 6' one today, but called and it was a phantom on searsoutlet.com. there are a few that were listed at reg price of $159, 30% off this (not sure why, retail on this was $349), I saw the durham one was listed the same. Bummer I can't find any others in my state, i could really use a 6' and 8' bench to go with the rest of my gear

I know for a fact there was a 6ft display model in the Durham Guess Road store when I was there that they were selling. It was already assembled so that might pose a pickup problem. Might not show up at searoutlet.com but I saw it with my own eyes.
