Has anyone seen any BF Gladiator deals other than the 30" Premier cabinet for $99 at Sears? I plan on going get a few of those but I could't find anything else on sale.

I'm going to try to get six of the Gladiator cabinets. I'm guessing that my local Sears won't have them in stock but hoping they will let me order them at the BF price.

I am actually hoping to order them online at the BF price. They claim the doorbusters will be available for online purchase so hopefully the cabinet will be available. If not, I'll be heading to the store...

As usual, my Sears online experience was not the best. The BF price didn't show up and these cabinets were listed as not available for pickup at my local store. YMMV. Happily, the store itself was well staffed with helpful folks -- and well stocked with cabinets. I scored two!

I was able to order the six that I wanted at my local Sears Hardware this morning. They showed up as $159 in the computer but they adjusted the price to the $99 price in the BF sales flyer.

There was no $99 offer online at sears.com for me either. SO, I drove to the local mall at 4:00 this morning. I was met by TONS of people and long lines. Finally found someone to help and was told there were 4 cabinets in stock. I then waited in a LONG line and paid for the 4 cabinets in stock. BTW, they were still $159 in the computer and the cashier had to manually override the price. I then stood in another LONG line for customer pickup and was then told they only had 3 in stock. Back to the LONG cashier line to get a refund and then backorder the 4th cabinet. So I have 3 cabinets in the back of the truck and a 4th one on the way. All told it took about 2 hours...

I admire your patience.... the cabinets are awesome but to be a Sears at 4 am that takes some serious dedication. Dedication which i lack!

Hey Gladiator people,

I wanted to learn how to create a blog and had nothing to write about, so I wrote about saving money on all my Gladiator finds. Forgetabout BF; I found my stuff at Searsoutlet and Craigslist, and Lowes when they were clearing out alot of their Glaidator stuff. If you wait around, you'll eventually find what you want. Or you could have done like that crazy ***** in Los Angeles did at a Wal-Mart and brought a can of mace / pepper spray and sprayed the crowd to get ahead in line, might have cut down on the wait a bit.

Im surprised SEARS was busy, I thought SEARS was a "dead" retailer?

I picked up 4 of the cabinets. My local Sears doesn't stock them but they ordered them for me at the $99 price. I'm happy with it!

Hey Drsung great price on that gearwall!

I just bought a Geardrawer for $280 brand spankin'. Some guy owns a store that deals with overstocks and clearance items. He only had one of these so I had to swipe it fast.

I just took some pics today. I also posted pics on my blog.

My early Xmas gift!

Has anyone that bought the 30" cabinents from Sears had problems with the magnetic strip coming off? The glue for the magnetic strip that holds the door shut melted on mine this summer and now they wont stay shut. I need to figure out what to put on the strip to get it back on there that wont melt this time.

I did most of my garage with Gladiator cabinets and stuff. Sears puts them 30% off at times. Ask one of the guys in hardware to call you when it happens. My guy calls every time (they make commission...). It has worked out really well. All of my cabinets are hung on the walls to keep the floors clean and clear. I'm very happy with the durability of everything so far. Good luck!

I just covered most of my garage in gearwall. Ya its not super cheap but its great stuff and as much as I rearrange stuff in the garage, it will certainly save me headaches.

I have lots of the 30" cabinets and never had a problem. The first generation cabinets used mechanical door latches similar to a dryer door latch. The more recent versions use a magnetic strip. Have your dealer order a replacement strip.

Or call Whirlpool Gladiator at 800-342-4089
