Just to be clear, I don't own stock in this company and have never bought anything from them but I get their catalog at work. I read about alot of you looking at vehicle lifts, tool boxes, flooring, workbenches, etc. This place seems to have a lot to offer, couldn't tell you if the prices are any good comparing to what you have been looking at. Just thought I'd pass this along.......

Under-Acknowledged Huge Resource

A catalog arrived in the mail from Global Industrial earlier this week; I took a look last night and wondered how I'd missed this resource before. How could we have a ~10 page workbench thread and no one mention these guys? I just did a search and found only 4 references so thought I would bump this one to the top.

See the website at www.globalindustrial.com and check out the workbench section. 2 3/4" maple tops in 6' lengths for $278, Stainless tops 6' length for $390. Those numbers are 20-30% off Lista for example.
They have a wide array of workbench leg and cabinet combinations that are pretty cheap and appear to be pretty well made.

Ever since my exterior trim went so over-budget I've been delaying a cabinet order since I really wanted Lista. This stuff is not Lista: smaller dimensions, cheaper finishes, cheaper hardware. But pretty good for the price and leagues beyond the home depot/Lowes retail stuff.

The rest of the catalog is chock full of equally interesting items.

I have their catalog. Pretty good stuff in there. Their tops are priced well, but as you said, no custom sizes.

Those machine tables look pretty stable.

~$400 stainless top would cost $117 to ship to me.

Yep I forgot about shipping. However might save on sales tax depending on how they treat that.

What really intrigued me about the catalog was the sheer variety. They must have ten benchtop options from 1/4" steel to synthetics, pressboard laminates etc.

And I really dig the wall mounted boom cranes...
