Hello - I'm planning my workbench and was curious whether anyone had experience with these workbench legs from global industrial ?

http://www.globalindustrial.com/product/itemKey/30980774

My father used something similar that he got from sears many years ago, but I can't seem to find them anymore. His benches are still going strong after 25 years of frequent use. I have no idea whether these are comparable quality.

Has anyone tried them? Thank you

they work quite well. I put a piece of 1"x lumber under the feet, with felt - so that the feet didn't scratch my floor.

The next benches I made, I used 2x4 lumber scraps from a guy building houses nearby, and they do just as well - at zero $$.

It really depends on your form over function plans and what you can live with. Pic below of the wife's quilt table....it is all scrap except the thin laminate top.

I have the non-adjustable workbench legs and love them. Also used the brace pieces with an Ikea top and put rubber leveling feet underneat. Works great and holds a lot. Also tons of room to fit a box or cabinet and other storage. Not expensive. I got everythging from McMaster-Carr.

Thanks for the replies everyone. I'm not sure how long it's going to take, but I'll post some pictures once I have it together. Thank you.
