Does anyone have a web address for the Globe lift company? I am not having any luck finding it. I have an opportunity to go to an auction and bid on a Globe 2 post lift at a Ford dealership that's closing and I don't know anything about Globe lifts. I've never even heard of them before. I now know that they have been around a long time selling in ground lifts but that's about it..........................

Globe may well be out of business so that would eliminate a web site.

Their early 2 post lifts used a pair of Acme screws with a chain drive between the screws.

Globe is long since out of business. I forget now who it was that bought them but I don't think that company is even in business anymore.

I crossed paths with Globe looking up stuff for Benwil, they merged about 8 years ago and split and about 4 years ago and Benwil appears to have gone out of business. SVI has parts for many makes, but only sells through distributors who it looks like also provide service. I've seen "monthly service" mentioned many times as well, but not what it entails. Globe used to be the largest brand and I think invented the in ground lift.

Thanks for the info guys. I went to the auction, but I didn't buy it. It went for $1000.00. I would have bought it if it had been a Rotary or a Mohawk, but I just wasn't sure about the Globe brand..........
