I have a sheet of what I think came from a large white tank'
It has a slight curve and is about 1/4 in. thick. It seems to be like the white cutting boards.I heated a piece and pressed it flat to cool and it seems to have lost it's memory.
I would like to laminate 3 pieces so I can work on the lathe.
Any ideas on how?

Most cutting boards are made from HDPE (high density polyethylene) which does not glue well at all with any kind of solvent or glue. Here's a link to some info about bonding HDPE.

Thanks. I kinda was hoping that something new was on the market.
I guess it is the old nuts and bolts trick . They will work but glue would be cleaner looking.
Thanks again

Difference is wood is gluable. Glues like Gorilla Glue penetrates the all pores and once dry, is stronger the wood itself. HDPE is not gluable.

Several people on Ebay sell HDPE remnants. Bought a couple to make cutting boards for cleaning fish and an edge for a homemade Manplow.

My advice, find a chunck thats suits the project.
