I picked this up a few years ago and cant for the life of me find much info on it.
It has 46 teeth give or take and built well. Other than that I have yet to gather any info. Need some help!
Numbers read 06800

Sorry, I can't help you but I know that they sell a Taiwanese-made tool line under the GM Goodwrench name at Oreilly Auto Parts now. They are of a completely different design than your "Snap On clone" there though. I'm surprised to see that yours is stamped USA. Must be quite a few years old.

Yea Ive seen all the Oreilly stuff. Ive had this for years now it seems and I thought the same thing as far as snapon comparison. Its a very smooth ratchet.

I had a ratchet with that brand name also, except it was a round head with the same handle. It was very comfortable to use, until it broke. I'd like to know who makes the tool also.

I have this ratchet. In fact, I have the complete set it came with, missing a couple of things. It's from the early 90's maybe earlier; or at least that's how long I've had it. It was one of my first sets. The ratchet is well made, solid, substantial, comfortable, and rather smooth. Obviously, it's a Snap On knock off, but it's USA made (as the whole set is); and I've always wanted to know who made it. Any ideas?

there was a goodwrench line of tools at Sam's club in the early 90's. I gave one of those mega 30 pc screwdriver set to my FIL (as a gag gift) and it is hanging on the wall still in the original package I will try to get over and look to see if it says who made it.

The ratchet, could it be made by snap-on? I only ask because my 95 'vette came with a factory tool to remove the top which is a Snap-on 1/4" ratchet in black finish (SO part numbers on it) so Snap-on did supply GM with tools, maybe they made that ratchet too...

"...The ratchet, could it be made by snap-on?…"

You'd have an easier time telling these brand worshippers that their wife's been cheating than telling them that SO once made an economy line of tools sold at Sam's Club.

It looks like the same head as the older USA made Wright Cougar ratchets.

I inquired years ago and was told by Wright customer service that this line of tools was made under contract by Kingsley tools in Texas which was part of Danaher tool group.

I think we have a winner! That lever, and, for the most part, the head, is identical to the GM ratchet. It's a well made ratchet for an economy line; better than most of my RP Craftsman's.
