GM Universal Remote and Marantec 4500

My new to me truck has GM's built in garage door opener. I am having a problem getting the two to work together. I have directions for both and for whatever reason I am having no luck.

Is anyone using the two together and it working like it is supposed to? Any help is greatly appreciated.

My GM homelink works fine and was easy to set up but I only used it with fixed code electric gates. If your door uses rolling codes the learn procedure is more complicated, I've never used a homelink transmitter with a rolling code door but I know the process is more than just one step. If the GDO is Homelink, they should work. You have to follow the instructions very carefully. It is easy to screw it up. You may have to start with the clearing the memory. GL

Thanks for the link Dan. I will print the instructions out and see what I can manage. I am pretty sure mine is a rolling type. I will get the manual from Marantec too.
